Ecos Energy is a renewable energy development company that employs a landowner-based model, focused on developing projects in which a substantial portion of the economic benefits can remain with the farmers, ranchers and other landowners – large and small – on whose land the projects are sited. Acceptable project sizes range from utility scale to distributed community projects. While its initial projects have been located in the Upper Midwest, Ecos’ development scope is now national.
